Dr.  Scott McDearmont was born May 10, 1970.  His family moved to Plano, Texas in December 1971.  He lived in Plano, Sherman and Lewisville growing up.  Dr. McDearmont was a charter graduate of Marcus High School in 1988.  His service to the local community began as an emergency room volunteer at Lewisville hospital in 1989.

Except for four years at Texas A&M University, Dr. McDearmont has been a Denton County resident since 1984. He met his wife DeAnna in 1990 and they were married in 1993. Ryan was born while Dr. McDearmont was in medical school at UT Southwestern in Dallas, Texas.  After medical school, Dr McDearmont completed his surgical residency in Dallas.  He began his general surgery practice in 2001. Dr. McDearmont stays involved in performing arts including dance, theater, and voice with Ryan and Kaitlyn.

Since beginning his surgical practice, Dr. McDearmont has become more and more involved in the local community.  He is proud to support local public schools in LISD.  His parents and sister both still live in the area as well.  Dr. McDearmont is excited about the future of our community and looks forward to serving the health care needs of the community for years to come.
